Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Mobile Service Technician to provide vehicle maintenance and repairs at customer locations using our mobile service van. This role requires independence, excellent customer service skills, and a strong technical background. ASE certifications and B-level technician qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to promote loyalty and satisfaction
  • Visit customer workplaces and homes to perform basic services, maintenance, and recall repairs
  • Effectively manage daily appointments and time to maximize productivity
  • Complete vehicle repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with attention to cleanliness and efficiency
  • Communicate regularly with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department, and Dealer Management to ensure smooth operations and accurate customer updates
  • Document all work performed accurately on repair orders
  • Keep up-to-date with Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
  • Operate and maintain company vehicle responsibly, including driving in various weather conditions
  • Contribute positively to the team with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience and prioritize customer satisfaction
  • Engage professionally with diverse customers each day
  • Organize and prepare for daily appointments with strong time management skills
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and cleanly
  • Maintain clear communication with internal departments for coordination and updates
  • Accurately document all service work performed
  • Stay informed on Ford technical bulletins and complete ongoing training
  • Work effectively in various weather conditions when required
  • Drive and care for company vehicle responsibly
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and support business growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • B-level technician qualifications preferred
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license
  • ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred, Ford certifications a plus
  • Previous experience as a service technician preferred
  • Comfortable using technological devices such as tablets
  • Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 100 pounds
